An opportunity has arisen to join Centre Park Resources Limited, part of the Sterling Group, which is one of the longest established contractor organisations in the UK.

Our commitment to customer service and support for our employees and sub-contractors means that the number of contractors working through the Sterling Group is growing daily with the majority of our employees and sub-contractors joining us based on recommendations from other contractors.

Our primary business is the sub-contracting of employed workers within the construction industry through our Sterling Umbrella route as well as giving contractors the option to work on a self-employed basis. Centre Park Resources are responsible for providing a professional, efficient and excellent service to all Sterling contractors.

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the products and services of Sterling to Recruitment Agencies.

As Business Development Manager for new and existing business, your ability to identify new opportunities will be fully tested in this role. You will need to be able to identify and influence key decision makers and develop strong relationships with clients to identify their specific needs; our success is due to our commitment to customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have their own portfolio of agencies and will be required to maintain regular contact with them, whether face to face or by telephone.

The successful candidate will have previously worked in an Umbrella Company, have an understanding of the Umbrella model or have a proven successful track record within a Sales environment. Excellent communication skills are required as you will frequently liaise with Directors, Managers, Consultants and Contractors.

Flexibility is required as this is a field-sales role and will involve overnight stays and entertaining clients which may take place during the evening or weekends.
